The EGO CHX5500E is the commercial charger specified for compatible EGO backpack batteries, including BAX1500. It provides the charging connection needed for that professional battery format, which differs from the portable packs used directly on many handheld tools.
Fan cooling supports temperature management during charging, while LED indicators provide charging and diagnostic information. With the BAX1500 battery, the supplier lists a rapid-charge time of around 210 minutes under the specified conditions; actual timing depends on battery state and temperature.
