Give larger tents, awnings and outdoor fabrics a protective refresh with Fabsil Universal Protector + UV Protection 2.5L. Designed for equipment left outdoors for long periods, this treatment combines durable water repellency with UV inhibitors to help defend against rain, staining and sun-related fabric degradation.

  • Waterproofing and UV protection in one treatment.
  • 2.5L size is useful for larger outdoor fabric projects.
  • Brush-on or garden-sprayer application.
  • Helps maintain outdoor fabrics exposed to unpredictable weather.

Suitable for

Nylon, polyester, cotton canvas, hessian, mohair, Ventile, polycotton, ripstop, eVent and GORE-TEX fabrics, subject to the item manufacturer’s care instructions.

  1. Make sure the fabric is clean and completely dry before treatment.
  2. Work outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, protecting nearby grass and hard surfaces from splashes.
  3. Paint on an even coat, or apply with a suitable garden sprayer from approximately 10–15cm away.
  4. Apply extra treatment to seams and areas subject to abrasion.
  5. Protect from rain and dew until completely dry; allow as long as possible before use.

Care tips

  • Approximate label coverage per litre: 18m² of nylon, 7.5m² of lightweight canvas or 5m² of medium-weight canvas; actual coverage varies by fabric and application.
  • Fully erect tents before treatment and cover grass or tarmac nearby.
  • For difficult droplets, rub lightly with a clean cloth.

May darken some fabrics; test on an inconspicuous area first. Not suitable for painted leather, glued seams or plastic-coated fabrics such as vinyl windows, ground sheets and mudwalling. Keep away from ignition sources; follow all hazard and first-aid instructions on the container.
